Craigmont mill is the largest ore concentrating mill in Canada -- 300 long tons per day. Finished corundum was packed in 100 lb bags, over 3/4 mile tramway to wharf on York River. Company boat made daily trips to Barry's Bay. In the winter, they used a wagon. |
